Join PUMA’s Retail division and become a member of the headquarters team for the EEA region (European Economic Area) based in Oensingen, Switzerland, 45 minutes outside of Zurich. We offer a six month internship in our Store Development team, starting as soon as possible.
Retail EEA is responsible for ca. 130 owned and operated Full Price and Factory Outlet Stores in the region. You will be able to contribute to our growth and expansion plan and support PUMA’s efforts to become the most desirable and sustainable sportlifestyle company.
As a Store Development intern you will support the project management team based in Switzerland and in the countries in which we open new Full Price and Outlet Stores.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Support the project team with store openings on a regional and international level.
- Verifying architectural plans, distributing information within the team.
- Preparing and supporting negotiations with suppliers.
- Requesting reports and preparing presentations.
- Invoice controlling and preparation of orders.
- Research on sustainable materials and methods, supporting the global sustainability project on a regional base.
- Administrating and maintaining the store database.
- Organisation of meetings and conference calls.
- Travel and supplier management.
We expect:
- You are studying towards a degree in Architecture, Business, Economics or similar and have at least completed the first two years.
- Swiss or EU nationality.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential; second European language is appreciated.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, knowledge of Lotus Notes is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and to successfully work towards deadlines.
- Capability to work independently and strong sense of responsibility.
